Camiño Seguro (Safe Camino)
The Xunta de Galicia launches the Camino Seguro (Safe Camino) program, an initiative that promotes a pilgrimage adapted to the current
health situation through a comprehensive protocol of action on Jacobean routes in Galicia.
Under this program, a series of measures are established for both pilgrims and professionals, management entities or volunteers who work on the Xacobea Route.

The Camino Seguro program includes measures such as:
- Capacity limitations of between 50 and 75%
- Preparation of guides and support manuals
- Training for more than 300 hostel workers
- Aid for adaptation of establishments to hygienic-sanitary measures
- An advisory service for business
