Turismo de Galicia shows the importance of the Camino in the structuring of Europe through an audio-visual exhibition
- The exhibition can be visited in the Fray Diego Exhibition Room of the Casa de la Cultura of Estella until May 21.
- It includes a selection of photographs of Manuel Valcárcel accompanied by the music of Alexandro González which narrates his pilgrimage through Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, the north of Spain and Jacobean Galicia.
- The exhibition shows the plurality and richness of Europe structured by the itineraries to Santiago de Compostela and the importance of the Camino as the first European cultural itinerary.

Turismo de Galicia inaugurated the audio-visual exhibition Memoria de Peregrinación/Remrmbrance of a Pilgrimage in Estella (Navarre), which can be visited in the Fray Diego Exhibition Room of the Casa de la Cultura of the town until May 21 of this year..
It is an audio-visual exhibition which brings together the photographs of Manuel Valcárcel and the music of Alexandro González through his pilgrimage along one of the Jacobean routes with an extensive history and tradition.
The exhibition narrates a contemporary journey made in order to become immersed in the intimacy of historical places which form a substantial part of the cultural memory of all Humanity.
Thus, the exhibition shows a private pilgrimage through Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, the north of Spain and Jacobean Galicia in which the two Galician artists highlight the cultural tradition and the religious sensibility which impregnate these places and the ways, as well as life in the towns and cities near to the pilgrimage itineraries.
The exhibition shows the plurality and richness of Europe structured by the itineraries to Santiago de Compostela and the importance of the Camino as the first European cultural itinerary.
The exhibition shows a pilgrimage in 2010 and 2011 through the European cities of Sofia (Bulgaria), Bucharest (Rumania), Zagreb (Croatia) and Santiago de Compostela, continuing the journey in 2012 through France, Australia and New Zeeland. In 2013 the journey was through Germany, the Czech Republic and Singapore together with several Spanish cities such as Leon, Burgos and Palencia.
