Building designed in 1941 by Antonio Palacios Ramilo. The architect here maintains the compositional system of his earlier commercial designs implemented in Madrid. It is remarkable for its classicistic style resembling the Chicago school of the end of the 19th century. The building has a large plinth body with pilasters and bolstered arches on a rough surface. Gigantic columns plastered with clay and extending upwards for four floors rest on this surface. The top floor is capped by an entablature with triglyphs on the frieze and large windows with metopes. The chamfer has a large, high opening, on the frame of which two smooth pilasters rise and on the cornice there is a towered three-storey body which highlights to an even greater degree the sheer size of the building.
