Description
This beach is known for the great numbers of pod razor, a bivalve mollusc that is much appreciated for its culinary value, which lives on the sandy bottom. It feeds on phytoplankton and buries itself at a shallow depth in this area. Fisterra shellfish gatherers dive into the water to collect it by hand.
