The Feira Cabalar de San Martiño de Francos, in Teo, is held every 11 November. Its origins date back to 1557, demonstrating its ability to endure over time. Specialising in horses, it is now one of the main events in this sector, featuring the buying and selling of horses, agricultural machinery, crafts, textiles and accessories related to equestrian activities, as well as autumn produce from the local countryside. The fair takes place in a lush ‘carballeira’ (oak grove), situated on the Portuguese Way.
