After two very successful editions that gained the appreciation of the general public and specialized media, the 3rd Via Stellae Festival was presented, already with Xacobeo 2010 in mind. As in previous editions, the centre of the Festival was Santiago de Compostela, although Via Stellae also extended its activities to thirty four Galician towns and cities located on the eight pilgrimage routes that lead to Compostela.
