Centulle- Ermita de A Nosa Señora do Faro

  • Length 11.3 Km
  • Difficulty High
  • Estimated Duration 2h 40min

On going up to the mount (4.8 km of hard ascent from Penasillás). We pass by Chao de Seixas. A detour to the left takes us through a via crucis by what is known as the “Camiño da Virxe”— to the famous hermitage of A Nosa Señora do Faro. We are now at an altitude of over 1,100 metres. The view from here is unique as it takes in the four provinces of Galicia.

If we want to avoid going up to Monte Faro, on arriving at Penasillás, we have an alternative which passes through Mouricios and San Vicente. It is a shorter way and we avoid the snow in winter.
